Deal Studio CRM is built on four generations of business brokerage experience and over 15 years of offering systems to the business brokerage profession. Our goal is to provide systems to business brokers that can be used every day in a streamlined manner. Business brokerage is a complex industry, but that does not mean your system needs to be complex.
Our Deal Studio CRM is built on the Zoho CRM platform. After years of working and partnering with other CRM systems, we have found Zoho to offer the perfect balance of user experience, price, support, and functionality. Once we provide our customized version of the platform to you, it becomes your system.
That means you are a direct customer of Zoho, and they support you through phone, email, and direct chat –24/7. You are not dependent on us for support or hosting of your system, but we are here to train and support you as it relates to business brokerage. We feel you should have the benefit of a company like Zoho who employs 3,500 people, has been around since 1996, and now has 15 million users. But we also know you need the experience of those that understand your business and can help you navigate the challenges and opportunities that are unique to a business broker CRM system. That’s what Deal Studio CRM offers.
We know, first things first. How much are we talking?
$1,000 set-up. Yep, that’s it! Then Zoho charges $40 per month per user or $35 per month, if paid annually.
For the $1,000, we give you our customized solution copied right into your Zoho CRM account, a library of business brokerage related training videos, and the support you need to get going. If you need custom development, support, or training, it is available for $75 per hour.
We could list all the features of Zoho CRM right here, but we think Zoho has done a great job for us. You can click here to see all that Zoho CRM has to offer. You won’t be disappointed, but please don’t be overwhelmed either. Part of what we have done is hide the stuff you don’t need in order to provide the functions you do need with the simplicity you desire. Don’t worry. We can add back the complex stuff later, if you need it.
Business Brokerage Features
So Zoho CRM does all and more than you need as far as a CRM goes, but how do those features translate into running a business brokerage office? Good question.
You probably have a list of businesses you would love to list and sell, right? Deal Studio CRM gives these businesses a home and allows you to organize the really good ones and the “I’m not sure this thing would ever sell” businesses too. But we never know what will sell. That’s why the best policy is to keep them all organized and see how it goes.
When the lead does list with you, just convert it into a listing/seller and see it through to closing. Organize leads with notes, tasks, events, documents, and emails. Organize them into categories. Communicate with them through email campaigns, direct mail, and telemarketing. You might even convince some to sell because you have a buyer looking for their exact business, and Deal Studio CRM made it easy to make the match.
Buyers are a dime a dozen, right? However, as much as we may not like this reality, we actually need buyers to make a deal happen. So let’s organize them, too. That way, we can remember that buyer when a new listing arrives that we didn’t know about last week, and it turns out that it is exactly what they were looking for.
Organize buyers with notes, tasks, events, documents and emails. Organize them into categories. Communicate with them through email campaigns, direct mail, and telemarketing. Under each buyer, see all the listings they are interested in and their current stage of activity. Sure, there are tire kickers. But some buyers end up buying, and you get a big commission. We will also capture all that buyer info from a form on your web site so you can use your time for more important things. Then Deal Studio CRM will kick off a campaign of emails, tasks, and updates so you don’t have to remember who is who and what comes next.
When that lead decides to sell, convert it to a listing and a seller. The reason we split them out is that a listing is essentially a product to sell and the current owner is just a contact connected to that listing as an owner.
A listing may have several owners. Once the listing sells, a new contact will become the owner, and with their business, they become a new lead for you to prospect and the old owner becomes a great referral source.
Organize sellers with notes, tasks, events, documents, and emails. Organize them into categories. Communicate with them through email campaigns, direct mail, and telemarketing. Under each seller, see all the listings they own.
With over 75 custom fields already created and the option for you to add 400 more, Deal Studio CRM allows you to keep track of all the essential information on each and every listing. We have broken the data into the following sections:
You can easily change field names, field types, category titles, and you can add additional fields. You can require that fields be entered, hidden from agents, or marked for view only.
Each listing will also show you all the buyers who have been entered into the system with this listing as the one of initial interest. Each listing will also show you all the buyers connected to this listing and the stage they are in the buying process. From the listing, you are linked to the seller, interested buyers, and all related deals/closings.

Deal Management is the heart of Deal Studio CRM. It’s the ability to connect a listing with a buyer and know at what stage of the process they are. You customize your own deal stages and add numerous fields to store information on the deal. From each deal, you are linked to the related buyer and listing.

All data entered into the system can be either exported or shown in a visual report. You can run complex reports from your data set as well. Want to know all the buyers who have been interested in a listing? No problem. Reports are fully customized and can even be set up to be emailed to you or your sellers. We’ll show you how to create views of your data, run exports, set up reports, and send automatic reports via email.
You can upload and store documents directly to a lead, contact, listing, or deal. You can share documents as well and even track whether the file was viewed by the recipient. In addition, you can store internal documents for your company. For more advanced document storage and sharing, please look at our premium File Sharing service. A Deal Studio representative can explain the pros and cons of the two services.
Deal Studio CRM allows you to control data at a granular level. Expose and hide information and functions based on a user’s security role. As the admin, you control what each agent can see and do. You can also protect fields so they can only be seen and not edited. It’s your office−run it the way you see best.
Manage your listings as a project. The numerous steps involved in managing a listing from start to finish are daunting, and making sure you don’t miss a step can keep you awake at night. Not anymore. Deal Studio CRM organizes every listing for you.
You can create milestones and tasks for each milestone, and assign each task to a specific person. You can even invite the seller and assign them tasks. Plus, you create templates so your typical process can be copied and followed for every listing. Project management is a stand-alone service that connects with Zoho CRM.
